LOTTRAIL · INVITED TRIAL

Investigate a supplier lot when a defect is reported

Find the recorded outputs and shipments that may contain a questioned lot, with the gaps that limit the answer.

From the supplier lot to your own lots

A supplier’s lot code and your factory lot code are often different. Once a supervisor approves that they are the same material, the investigation follows the link across both datasets, with the decision and its reason kept.

Potentially related, not guessed

Where an operation records several outputs without saying which input went where, every recorded output is shown as potentially related. LotTrail does not split quantities or invent a single path.

Keep the investigation in a case

Save the run, add it to a case, assign a reviewer and record your conclusion. Holds, recalls and customer contact stay in your own processes; closing the case records the investigation, not those actions.

Trials are by invitation and start with one agreed workflow. Scope and arrangements are agreed with you before access.
